Joshua Humphreys speaks at the Responsible Endowments Coalition conference.

NEW YORK, NY — The Center for Social Philanthropy’s director Joshua Humphreys, a lecturer at Harvard University, participated on a panel devoted to “new forms of corporate engagement” at a conference hosted by the Responsible Endowments Coalition in New York earlier today.

Students involved in Committees on Investor Responsibility at campuses across the country attended the event, which took place at the New School.

The Responsible Endowment Coalition is a diverse network of students, alumni and faculty from across the country dedicated to advancing socially and environmentally responsible investment in college and university endowments. It was founded by successful student advocates from Barnard College, Duke University, University of Pennsylvania, Swarthmore College and Williams College to help other students by providing a single-source location for news, resources, and advice on responsible investment in higher education.  For more information about REC, please visit www.endowmentethics.org.
